Just the cover
Just finish reading MOLOKA'I. Its good with some critics, like he could easily write 3 books from just expanding MOLOKA'I itself and let Racheal have all the feeling and develop each chapter of her life instead of going through hers in full speed. Its not going to hurt less from going faster through her journey. I wish he would expand her stages of life in a more normal pace. Too many years missing in wanting to know her better.

Are we there yet
Good grief. I feel like Charlie Brown. I even start writing my own book in my mind how a story should be? I think I am going to stop buying romance or romantic novel written by men. They don't go deep enough with the emotional aspect of relationships. I felt in MOLOKA'I, Racheal saga was told to the point, everything was explain like a manual, to the point! Her feeling was clear TO THE POINT, solutions TO THE POINT. Too short, lack of substance. I know Racheal emotions are deeper and more profound. Give that girl some woman feelings, for GOD sake. I did not enjoy the first" Women Murder Club" First To Die by James Patterson. It was gruesome and very violent.

Twilight
Maybe I should get busy and go back to sewing again and make a quilt base on the twilight drama! . Have not done any major project since I start reading the books. Not enough waking hours to sew, read, hike, keep the house clean, time with the girls (movies, lunch, talk etc) , shopping, work..... you know what I mean? And the poor dog... I don't pay enough attention to her, my precious baby.

Publishing pattern
Hint: its blue and blue and some more blue and a smidge of yellow...Its base on Marti Michell kaleidoscope technique. And very easily done using paper piecing techniques. I am working with the famous Rebecca Ruth Design. Hope she can guide me in the right direction. I am very excited and enthusiastic with this particular journey. Hope you will see my pattern in your favorite quilt stores soon. I don't know how long it takes from the process of writing and testing the pattern to actually sending to the printer and then to the quilt stores. I will keep you posted.

Easy and Fast Bean Soup
Ingredients needed.
- 1 lbs Ground beef or turkey
- 2 cups of Pinto beans or 3 cups black bean (soak them for at least 24 hours)
- 1 onion
- green onions
- 3 good size tomatoes (chopped into cubes)
- chicken stock/ ready made boullion
- smoke sausages, beef or turkey
- options: cooked carrott, and or cooked potatoes cubes
Start by soaking the beans overnight or 24 hours prior to cooking. Drain the water before cooking them.
In a pressure cooker , using either cooking oil or olive oil, sauted the onions until they are almost clear, add ground beef and cook them well done. Add the soaked beans, the diced tomatoes and the beef stock or chicken boullions ( you might need two pieces of the bouillion - watch for MSG, most bouillion has MSG, go to your Wholefood stores or local co-op for natural broth with no MSG added ). Put enough water to cover you mix, follow your pressure cooker instructions, some pressure cookers are smaller in size, so watch for the allow amount of liquid. You can always add more liquid later. Close the lid and wait until pressure builds up and let it cook for 25 minutes. Once time is up, turn off and wait until all the pressure is down, open the lid and add chopped green onion and cut small pieces of beef sausages. Serve with cooked rice.
